If you’re still figuring out placement, jewelry, or whether you want a single nostril, double nostrils, or a septum piercing, you don’t need to have every detail figured out before you come in. We’ll go over your options with you before the piercing starts.

Nose Piercing Options + Pricing
Single Nostril
$40 piercing fee + cost of jewelry selected
A single nostril piercing is the classic option and gives you plenty of flexibility with placement and jewelry. Keep it simple on its own or use it as the starting point for a more layered look later.
Paired / Double Nostril
$80 piercing fee + cost of jewelry selected for both piercings
Paired nostrils place one piercing on each side of the nose. They can be matched closely for a symmetrical look or placed a little differently depending on the style you’re going for.
Once fully healed, you can have more fun with the jewelry too, like connecting them with a chain or mixing a stud on one side with a hoop on the other.
Septum
$40 piercing fee + cost of jewelry selected
A septum piercing gives you a completely different look from a nostril piercing, with jewelry options ranging from simple and minimal to much more noticeable.
Final pricing depends on the jewelry you select. We keep a range of styles and price points available so you can compare your options before making a decision.

What Happens During Your Appointment
1. Talk through your idea
We’ll go over the placement you’re considering and your jewelry options before anything starts.
2. Check your placement
You’ll have a chance to see the placement and make adjustments before moving forward.
3. Get pierced
Once you’re happy with everything, it’s piercing time.
4. Leave knowing what to do next
We’ll go over basic aftercare, what to expect, and when to come back if you need help with jewelry or follow-up.
Getting both sides pierced? We’ll take extra time with placement so the two sides work together the way you want them to.
Clean, Private & Comfortable
Piercings at Mad Ethel’s are done in a dedicated piercing area, and the door can be closed if you’d like more privacy during your appointment.
We use sterile, single-use piercing needles and clean and disinfect the piercing area between clients.

Caring for Your Nose Piercing
You’ll leave with aftercare instructions so you know what to do at home. The basics are pretty simple: wash your hands before touching your piercing, use sterile saline as needed, keep beauty and personal care products away from the area, and otherwise leave it alone while it heals. There’s no need to rotate the jewelry, and over cleaning can cause irritation.
If your jewelry needs to be downsized, changed, or you have questions about how the piercing is doing, you can come back to the shop for help. Jewelry changes, downsizing, and existing piercing help are booked as appointments so there’s dedicated time to take a look.
Plan Your Visit
Age + ID
Nostril and septum piercings are available for ages 15+. All clients need a valid government issued photo ID. Clients under 18 must come with a parent or legal guardian and meet Mad Ethel’s minor identification requirements.
Appointments + Walk Ins
Tuesday through Friday, piercings are by appointment from 11 AM to 6 PM, with possible same day walk in availability before 4 PM. Saturday is walk in only from 11 AM to 5 PM, first come, first served.

Piercing FAQs
A single nostril piercing has a $40 piercing fee, plus the cost of the jewelry you select. Paired nostrils are $80 plus the cost of jewelry for both piercings. Your final total depends on the jewelry you choose.
Yes. We offer paired nostril piercings, sometimes called double nose piercings. They can be placed symmetrically or adjusted to fit the look you’re going for.
