Tony received his Baccalaureate of Fine Arts degree from The School of Visual Arts and while he tattoos for a passion and living, he continues to paint whenever possible.
He started tattooing in Manhattan, NY, where he began a formal 3-year apprenticeship and officially started tattooing prior to the re-legalization of tattooing in New York City circa 1997. In 1998, he co-opened the art gallery and tattoo studio named Evil Ways in Canarsie, putting Brooklyn tattooing back on the map with clean and solid work.
Tony has traveled extensively and done guest spots both domestically and abroad. He says he loves what he does and would not trade it for anything in the world.
He has been featured in many published books for his tattoos and artwork, including; Gary Lee Heards Body Art: The Human Canvas and PM Chen and Aviva Yael No Regrets. He has also been featured on television specials including MSNBC- Hooked and NAT GEO- Taboo.
He is now living in NC and excited to make "your pain my pleasure".
